Criterion Five: Resources, Planning, and Institutional Effectiveness

The Resources, Planning, and Institutional Effectiveness Subcommittee is tasked with responsibility for assessing the stability of the resources of Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College in response to the requirements of Criterion Five of the Higher Learning Commission’s criteria for accreditation.  Criterion Five requires that the institution’s resources be sufficient to fulfill its mission, improve the quality of its educational offerings, and respond to future challenges and opportunities.  This subcommittee must provide evidence of the fiscal stability of the College and demonstrate that resources are allocated based on systematic planning that is aligned with the institution’s mission, goals and values.
