Criterion Four: Teaching and Learning — Evaluation and Improvement

The Teaching and Learning – Evaluation and Improvement Subcommittee has responsibility for analyzing the actions of Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College against the standards set by Criterion Four of the Higher Learning Commission’s criteria for accreditation.  This criterion requires that institutions assure the quality of their academic programs and evaluate these programs effectively through processes that promote continuous improvement.  This subcommittee must present evidence that documents the institution has effective assessment process and uses data obtained through this process to assure the quality of its academic offerings.
